Here goes in order:
1. felt good to sit on, felt right and comfortable
2. I could afford a new bike - lo/no maintenance risks (I wanted fun, not a project)
3. bright orange and looked good
4. no used bikes in my area worth to me what people were asking
5. I did not want a large heavy bike that I thought I would have fear or trouble controlling.
6. this web site existed
